Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) - Occupational Profile Model
FocusFit worked with the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) to develop a model and standard occupational profile for assessing and developing managerial and leadership candidates in the Ontario region.
Through research, meetings, interviews and focus groups FocusFit developed a standard profile for leadership candidates. The profile included 15 skill/competency categories with descriptions and behavioural indicators. CSC executives commented that the profile was exceptionally well written and well adapted to CSC’s particular needs. Using this profile FocusFit then administered a web-based survey designed to assist candidates in identifying strengths and developmental opportunities.

Correctional Service of Canada
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is the federal government agency responsible for administering sentences of a term of two years or more, as imposed by the courts. CSC is responsible for managing institutions of various security levels and supervising offenders under conditional release in the community.
